The Admiral David Farragut Chapter of the National Society
of the Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in Knoxville, Tennessee,
in January, 1949. As one of 3,000 chapters, we are dedicated to
promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's
future through better education for children.
The
National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a
non-profit, charitable organization, dedicated to patriotism, historic
preservation, and education. The DAR is not affiliated
with any religious group or political party. DAR is a patriotic
society composed of members who subscribe to different political and
religious beliefs.
