The Bonny Kate Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is honored to have sponsored William Anthony Malone as the NSDAR Outstanding American History Teacher of the Year. He was honored on March 28, 2012, at TSDAR State Conference in Franklin Tennessee as the State of Tennessee American History Teacher of the year. He teaches at Horace Maynard Middle School in Union County, and has gone beyond the bounds of the classroom to make history interesting for his students.
