Welcome to the Gideon Carr Chapter web site!

Thank you for your interest in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

Do you have a Revolutionary patriot in your family tree?   DAR recognizes patriots not only as soldiers, but as anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom.   Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership.  If you need help in finding your patriot ancestors, we have chapter members who can assist you with your research.

As DAR members, we honor and preserve the legacy of our patriot ancestors.  We continue this legacy by actively promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.

Our chapter meets every month.  As proud members of the DAR, we invite you to join us.  Please email us for more information on membership and or meeting location.
