Because you visited our web site, I know you are interested in genealogy, and perhaps you've discovered a Revolutionary Patriot in your family tree. Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honors your Patriot ancestor and preserves your Patriot's legacy. As a member of DAR and through your participation in the Society's programs and activities, you, too, can continue the legacy of those who dreamed of the country we all celebrate today.
Our goal is to preserve the memory of those men and women who fought or gave service in the cause of freedom and independence during the American Revolutionary War.
Any woman is eligible for membership after her eighteenth birthday, if she can prove her lineage to an ancestor who aided in American Independence, and is able to provide appropriate documentation for each generation to the Patriot. For more information about becoming a member, go to National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
In the meantime, let me extend an invitation to visit our chapter. We would love to have you join us. You will enjoy getting to know our members and learning why we all became members of a Society that celebrates America each and every time we gather. Come, join us...we are waiting to welcome you!
