Honor outstanding high school seniors annually with the presentation of a DAR Good Citizenship Award. |

Honor outstanding high school and college ROTC cadets annually with the presentation of the ROTC gold and bronze medals. |
|
|
Honor outstanding individuals for their contributions to conservation with the Conservation Medal. |
|
|
Assist veterans in Veterans Hospitals. |
|
|
Conduct a chapter American History Essay Contest annually to select a state competitor for the national contest. |
|
|
Place DAR markers at the grave sites of Revolutionary War Patriots and DAR Members. |
|
|
Commemorate Revolutionary War Patriots with appropriate ceremonies. |
|
|
Participate in swearing-in ceremonies for new citizens. |
|
|
Observe patriotic anniversaries. |
|
|
Promote American Heritage through programs on: art, crafts, literature, and music; volunteer work at historic homes, sites, and museums; work on historic preservation. |
|
|
Cooperate with the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, Children of the American Revolution, and other hereditary organizations in the promotion of patriotism. |
