It is my pleasure to inform you that we have been notified by the NSDAR American Heritage Committee that two (2) entries have been chosen as winners from Tennessee in the various American Heritage Committee contests.
Congratulations to Linda Smith, Fort Nashborough Chapter, who’s entry was awarded the 1st Place National Award and the Evelyn Cole Peters Award in the Fiber Arts, Historic Dress category for her entry of The Post Edwardian Tailored Suit (1912-1919) and to Denise Black, General Francis Nash Chapter, who’s entry was awarded the 3rd Place National Award, Natural Photography for her entry of “I Am The Future”.
The National Awards Presentation will be held at Continental Congress, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m.at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Washington, DC. A video showcasing the National Winners will be shown at the Thursday NightEducation Awards by the VanBuren Administration.
