Greetings Tennessee Daughters,
We were thrilled to see all the interest for the 2022 TSDAR Continental Congress Bus Trip at the fall workshops. It will be an amazing trip and our goal is to accommodate as many Tennessee Daughters as possible on the bus. To accomplish this, we are asking everyone wanting to ride the bus complete a pre-registration form (emails, text, calls will not be accepted for pre-registration).
The pre-registration form will be available via a link on the TNDAR Members’ Only website in the Announcement Section on September 12,2021 at 3pm est/2pm cst and will remain open until September 19, 2021, 3pm est/2pm cst. Once pre-registration is closed you will receive an email from the Transportation Committee confirming your seat on the bus or placing you on the waitlist. This email will be sent by September 25, 2021.
Please read the following important information regarding the trip and the pre-registration process:
- Prior to pre-registering, choose your roommate! When pre-registering you will be asked to include both names/information on the same form. Only one pre-registration form should be completed for both of you. To complete the form you will need the following information for both people; Name, National Number, email address, phone #, district, chapter, and pick up location.
- If you do not have a roommate, don’t worry. You can still ride the bus. Just remember, you will be assigned a roommate as all rooms are double occupancy.
- Seats will be provided on a first come first serve basis with Tennessee Daughters receiving priority. Seats for husbands, family, prospective members, and DAR members outside of Tennessee will be provided if seats are available.
- Persons under the age of 18 are not eligible to participate in the bus trip.
- Participants must be able to move their own luggage, traverse stairs, and walk some distance.
- Bus pick up and drop off locations will be Memphis, Jackson, Antioch (for Nashville Area), Ooltewah (for Chattanooga Area), Knoxville, and Bristol, VA
- You will need someone to drop you off and pick you up from these locations. There will not be designated parking to leave a vehicle for the duration of the trip.
- Trip payment will be done by check. Once your spot on the bus is confirmed, you will receive information on where to send payment. Participants may choose to pay the entire fee of $1,800 in one lump sum or via a payment method. The initial deposit of $300 is due upon this confirmation. A second deposit of $600 is due by December 1st and the final amount of $900 will be due by February 1st.
- This trip is non-refundable.
