Introducing the Robinson Associates

The Tennessee Society elects new officers every third year of an administration during our annual meeting. I am pleased to have First Vice Regent Emily Robinson guest write this blog for an invitation to learn more about her slate and our upcoming elections. I know you will love the group of women she has selected to lead us through the TSDAR’s next chapter. In Service and Pride, Cecile.

When State Regent Cecile Wimberley was elected in 2019, we could never have imagined the Season of Service to God, Home and Country that was in store for us! We have been blessed by Mrs. Wimberley’s leadership, as well as all the efforts of the leaders in our state society and chapters. Through it all, the commitment of each member to our society has been extraordinary, and we still have several months left to continue to fulfill our objectives during this administration.

We can look forward to our upcoming TSDAR State Conference, which will be held at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, on April 21-24, 2022. Information about the state conference will be in the Tennessee DAR News which you will receive in the mail this month. We hope that you will be able to attend! Chapters, don’t forget that chapter delegates must be elected on or before February 20, and the credential form must be postmarked by March 10, 2022.

The Tennessee Society will elect a new executive board during the state conference. A board candidate page has been added to our members website so you can get better acquainted with the slate of officers who will be nominated for election during the business meeting on Saturday. Elections will be held on Sunday, April 24. These board candidates are offering their time and talents to lead our society during the 2022-2025 administration. Click here to be taken to the site to learn more.

The new executive board will take office at the close of the 2022 Continental Congress with the installation of the state regent and the state first vice regent. We will continue the commitment to the ideals of the Tennessee Society Daughters of the American Revolution and pledge to work with you to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and secure America’s future through education.
