After months of planning, it’s finally time to honor the Marquis de Lafayette’s remarkable journey. We have an incredible lineup of events filled with history, music, and engaging discussions. Mark your calendars and join us in commemorating Lafayette’s lasting legacy!

🗓 Friday, May 2, 1 PM DAR Program & Reception 📍 First Presbyterian Church, 109 W. College St, Brownsville, TN Lafayette himself will be in attendance! If you’ve registered, don’t forget to join us for an insightful program and reception.

🗓 Saturday, May 3, 9 AM – 5 PM The Grand Celebration at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage 📍 4580 Rachel’s Lane, Nashville, TN A day dedicated to Lafayette! Enjoy interactive history displays, visit tables hosted by DAR, SAR, U.S. Daughters of 1812, and more. Lafayette will be speaking at various times and mingling with guests throughout the day. Grounds Pass required (~$21) unless you’ve registered a table with Gail or Josi.
🗓 Sunday, May 4, 2 – 4 PM Tour & Talks at TN State Museum 📍 1000 Rosa Parks Blvd, Nashville, TN Walk through history with Lafayette! Guided tours and fascinating talks at 2:30 and 3:30 PM. No entrance fee!
🗓 Monday, May 5, 1 PM Guided Tour of Nashville City Cemetery 📍 1001 4th Ave S, Nashville, TN Join Lafayette on a guided tour of this historic cemetery, resting place to Revolutionary War veterans and notable Nashvillians. Free event!

🗓 Tuesday, May 6, 5 PM Clarksville Downtown Commons 📍 251 Legion St, Clarksville, TN Lafayette recounts his visit to Clarksville on May 6, 1825. Grab dinner at a nearby restaurant before heading to the concert!
🗓 Tuesday, May 6, 7 PM Lafayette & The Cumberland Winds Concert 📍 First Presbyterian Church, 213 Main St, Clarksville, TN Experience a stirring performance of period and French music as Lafayette joins the celebration.
