January is behind us, and if you are like me it has been a month spent trying to keep my New Year’s resolutions. One of the goals of this administration is to continue to provide educational opportunities for our members, even during Covid-19. We have several upcoming programs that the TSDAR will be presenting during the month of February for you to help us continue toward that goal. Beginning on February 2, 2021 we will host NSDAR National Insignia Chair Jamie Burchfield, who will be giving a wonderful presentation on all things Insignia. On Feb. 9, we will be having a workshop on our New Horizons and Members Training Courses led by our state coordinators for the programs, Emily Robinson and Charlotte Miller. Now is the perfect time to start these courses and more on how to do that and course expectations will be shared. Plans are being made to have the next graduation for these courses in April, and there is plenty of time to join the courses to graduate then. Click here to register for this workshop.
Finally on Feb. 16 in conjunction with the Ocoee Chapter, State Organizing Secretary MerryAnne Pierson will be leading a session on Build An App. Things certainly have changed with applications in the last few years and this will be a great way to learn more about this way to process applications.
