Day Events
For Day Events, business attire is appropriate. If you are wearing your insignia, dress guidance can be found on the national insignia page. Examples of these events include meals, workshops and the business meeting.

Evening Events
For Evening Events, you will see a range of formal, cocktail, and business attire. Sparkle and bling are welcome, and most ladies opt for evening gowns! These events include Opening Night and the Saturday Banquet.

Memorial Service
For the Memorial Service, church or business attire is appropriate. Hats are optional, but are worn by many at this event.
Please remember to enter quietly and keep your voices low while waiting for the event to begin so everyone can enjoy the prelude music.

White Gloves
White Gloves are required for the receiving line at the Friday evening reception. Regents will also wear white gloves for their photos on Saturday evening as well as their procession at the Banquet.

Insignia
Insignia is appropriate at all events, but not required.
As always, when you are wearing your insignia pins, be certain you have on appropriate clothing, such as mix and match or coordinating skirt suits and pant suits, day dresses, and more formal evening attire. Do not wear them with jeans, yoga pants or other casual clothing.
For State Conference, it is acceptable to wear your insignia pins as you walk from the hotel room to the conference center, but they should be removed while in the restaurant or bar. If you are outside the hotel, insignia pins can be covered with a scarf.
