Membership in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honors and preserves the legacy of your patriot ancestor. Almost 250 years ago, American patriots fought and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. As a member of NSDAR, through participation in the Society’s various programs and activities, you can continue this legacy by actively supporting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

NSDAR members are educators, students, professionals, mothers, historians, genealogists, and homemakers who take an active role in their communities. With 3,000 chapters throughout the world, and with over 182,000 members, we are one of the largest women’s service organizations in the world.

Membership in the NSDAR is open to women eighteen years of age and older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. Documentation must be provided for each statement of birth and death, and we can help you locate the needed documentation.

If you wish to join, let us know by contacting Chickamauga Chapter NSDAR. NSDAR is a vibrant and thriving organization, and we welcome you to join us!
