Chickamauga Chapter, NSDAR, is involved in many national, state, and chapter projects providing volunteer, material, and financial support. These projects include supporting Fisher House, volunteering at naturalization ceremonies, and sponsoring essay contests in our local schools. Our chapter actively participates in the following DAR committees: DAR Project Patriot, DAR Service for Veterans, Conservation, DAR School, Historic Preservation, DAR Scholarship, Literacy Promotion, and Special Projects Grants.

Never Forget Garden

Chickamauga Chapter, NSDAR members met on Sunday, October 9, 2022 on the NSDAR National Day of Prayer at the Soddy Daisy Veterans Park. Members unveiled and dedicated a new marker in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
