Chickasaw Bluff Chapter, NSDAR – Memphis, Tennessee

The members of the Chickasaw Bluff Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) welcome you! Membership in the NSDAR is open to women eighteen years of age and older who can provide lineal, blood descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. If you are interested in DAR membership, please contact us. We invite you to visit one of our chapter meetings & learn more about our service to the Memphis community, devotion to education, and promotion of patriotism. No matter your passion, DAR offers an opportunity for service!

Throughout the year, our members visit historic sites and participate in anniversaries of important historic events. We work to honor our  nation’s heritage and celebrate America through preservation of artifacts and historic sites.

The Chickasaw Bluff Chapter, NSDAR, visits schools across the Memphis area to encourage patriotism among students. Along with classroom presentations on flag etiquette, we present awards for poster and essay contests as well as high school senior DAR Good Citizens.
