Historic Markers

To help preserve the rich history of our community, the Mary Blount Chapter has carefully researched and obtained historic monuments and memorial stones for the graves of our patriots. Our efforts have helped preserve many cemeteries that might otherwise have been forever lost to weeds and obscurity.

More information on each of the soldiers is available, as well as information on those whose graves are not marked. Chapter members kept very detailed files, and there are wills, deeds, marriage records, and more. Contact us for more information.
