Welcome!

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) was founded in 1890 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. The DAR is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization. For more than a century, members have dedicated themselves to historical preservation, education of our youth, and supporting patriotic endeavors.

Any woman 18 years or older regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.

The John Sevier-Sarah Hawkins Chapter NSDAR invites you to find out who we are and what we do by attending one of our chapter meetings as our guest. If you would like more information about DAR or would like to attend a meeting, please contact our chapter regent. If you have questions about how to join, please contact our chapter registrar.

We meet monthly on the third Saturday of each month, September through June. Each meeting includes a business session, a program with a speaker, and a luncheon.

Please use our links to learn more about the Daughters of the American Revolution. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
